After more than 30 years as an IT leader in the supply chain industry, Lindsay Kowallek made the bold decision to leave her corporate career and pursue her lifelong passion for travel. Having lived and worked in multiple countries—and traveled extensively for business—she developed a deep desire to experience the world beyond the typical two-week vacation.
Drawing on her project management expertise, Lindsay planned multi-month travel itineraries and embarked on adventures that forever changed her life. Along the way, she discovered breathtaking destinations, incredible cuisine, and inspiring people. From cruising with over six different cruise lines to swaying in a hammock while listening to ocean waves, Lindsay found joy in the connections she made and the transformative power of travel.

In 2025, Lindsay turned her passion into a business, founding Ocean Pulse Travel LLC. Ocean Pulse Travel specializes in river cruises, small-ship voyages, and special interest sailings designed for travelers seeking meaningful experiences beyond the ordinary.
